A Creation Machine
The Ronin 4D is ready to capture everything in crisp, vivid detail. Depending on the version of Ronin 4D, cinematographers can shoot in Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 4444 XQ, ProRes 422 HQ and a variety of other video-Codecs, letting you freely express your creativity.
Full-Frame Camera
Capture breathtaking footage with X9-6K or X9-8K. The 6K-Version supports 6K/60FPS (Full-frame 2.39:1), 6K/50FPS (Full-frame 17:9), and has a max frame rate of 4K/120FPS. The 8K version supports 8K/75FPS (Full-frame 2.39:1), 8K/60FPS (Full-frame 17:9) and supports a max-frame-rate of 4K/120FPS.
Dynamic Range
The Ronin 4D has 14+ stops of dynamic range. The Zenmuse X9-8K allows Ronin 4D to capture amazing footage in a range of lighting situations, such as backlit scenes and even scenes with direct sunlight, enhancing portable applications.
Colour Science
The Ronin 4D is equipped with DJIs DCCS (DJI Cinema Color Science), which utilizes the CineCore Image Processing Platform and a range of other DJI-Software-Systems. With this, the DJI Ronin 4D and Zenmuse X9 support the ACES-Workflow, offering effortless Compatibility with the Color-Systems of other Cinema-Cameras.
Enclosed ND Filters
Shooting on a bright day? No worries, the Ronin 4D features an advanced motorized ND-System, containing ND2 to ND 512 or ND 0.3 to ND 2.7, that can be quickly swithced via the cameras settings. Theres no need to carry ND-Filter with Ronin 4D.
DL Lens Ecosystem
The Ronin 4D utilizes DJIs proprietary DL-Lens-Ecosystem. DJI offers a range of DL-Lenses, such as the F2.8 LS ASPH-Lens, the DL 24-mm F2.8 LS ASPH-Lens and many more. The DL-Ecosystem offers choice for almost all shooting requirements and is easy to install on the Zenmuse X9.
4-Axis Stabilization
Unlike most gimbals, the Ronin 4D has a fourth motor on the Z-Axis, further pushing the limits of control and stability. The Z-Axis helps minimize vertical camera shake for moving shots. The gimbal system also combines data with Ronin 4Ds advanced sensors to help improve stability with a powerful algorithm.
